Iran Press/ Iran News: Delivering a speech in the ceremony of "Nowruz 1400, Nowruz for Friendship", which was held on Monday at the Foreign Ministry compound in Tehran, Ali Asghar Mounesan called Nowruz cultural diplomacy which was effective to expand peace and bring nations together.
Mounesan said: "Iran tried to spread peace among nations with various cultures and avoid conflicts."
"Iran is under the pressure of the severe economic sanctions for more than three years because some countries consider themselves better than others," he said.
Despite all of the sanctions, Iran defended its identity, the minister stated.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology said: "The message of the ceremony was that human beings had reasons to live and sit together and all of us try to expand kindness and friendship."
