Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Monday that in the past 24 hours, 100 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 61,330.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 15, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,980 cases out of whom 963 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,754,933 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,499,301 recovered.

3,839 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 11,781,317 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman added.
