Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 88 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 61,230.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 14, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,593 cases out of whom 748 patients were hospitalized," Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,746,953 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,492,488 recovered.

3,831 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 11,716,210 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.
