Tehran (IP) - IRGC Ground Forces' mobile hospital which has been launched in Iran is unique in its kind in West Asia.

Iran Press/Iran News: The unveiling ceremony of the new system of the IRGC Ground Forces' mobile hospital aiming at combating COVID-19 was held on Sunday, in Tehran with IRGC Ground Forces Commander Mohammad Pakpour and the Health Minister Saeed Namaki in attendance.

The mobile hospital has been set up with a capacity of 128 beds and a combination of containers and tent canopy systems, along with the impassable mobile hospital system and the IRGC bus hospital.

Having different wards of a specialized hospital with bio-defense approach and MRI and mobile CT scan, telecommunication, and mobile feeding systems, the most high-tech specialized and technical medical pieces of equipment are used at this hospital.

The structure of this mobile hospital system has been produced and equipped by the IRGC Ground Forces' specialists.

Accuracy in providing specialized services in crises, providing health care services based on the new generation of accreditation, achieving efficiency in using the self-reliance system in providing specialized services without dependence on urban facilities, compliance with national and international indicators, and providing services and localization of system structures based on the knowledge-based economy in the IRGC Ground Forces are among the features of this mobile hospital.
