Tehran (IP) - Foreign Ministry spokesman says it is on the agenda to take the necessary measures to identify the perpetrators of the attackers on the Iranian ship.

Iran PressIran News: In response to a question about an attack on an Iranian container ship in the international waters of the Mediterranean, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said: "Reports of a sabotage attack on this ship are in clear violation of international law and the maritime law."

While condemning the attack, the Foreign Ministry spokesman added: "Identifying the perpetrators of this sabotage is on the agenda of the bodies and the investigations in its various dimensions are seriously on the agenda."

An explosive hit an Iranian container ship in the Mediterranean Sea. The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line Group (IRISL Group) says the container ship was damaged in a terrorist attack on Wednesday.

As the explosive object hit the vessel a small fire occurred at the point of explosion, which was controlled by the timely reaction of the crew, and no one was hurt.
