Kish (IP) - Kish Island in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, hosted the first Ney-anbān International Festival for three days from March 10 to 12, 2021.

Iran Press/Iran News: Fourteen groups of musicians from Iran, France, Hungary, Croatia, and Turkey showed their playing skills at the first Ney-anbān International Festival in Kish.

Ney-anbān International Festival was the first international music festival held during the outbreak of the coronavirus with the observance of health protocols.

Ney-anbān is one of the oldest musical instruments and its appearance is different in various countries, including Iran. Ney-anbān in the southern regions of Iran, including Bushehr, is 200 years old.

Kish Island is one of the most important tourist destinations in southern Iran and various international festivals are held on this island.
