Iran Press/ Iran news: On Friday, Mustafa Nasiri-Varag, Director-General of Khorasan Razavi Railway, said that in the past 11 months, 890,000 tons of goods had been exported from the Sarakhs rail border to Central Asian countries, adding that this statistic had increased by 18% compared to the same period last year.
Nasiri-Varag added: "The total amount of international trade shipments transported during this period, despite the existing restrictions due to the spread of the coronavirus, was 1,525,000 tons of goods."
The Director-General of Khorasan Razavi Railway also announced a 9% increase in freight in the last 11 months compared to the same period last year.
Sarakhs border terminal is located at the border between Iran and Turkmenistan.
