Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press in Urmia, Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan stressed that the Americans were seeking to disrupt the geopolitics of the West Asian region and that their strategy was to manage the ongoing chaos to justify their presence in the region and strengthen the regimes with which they have cooperation with.
The Leader's adviser said that several issues were important to Americans in the West Asian region; One is the security of the Israeli regime, which they have defined as their own security, and stand against any force that threatens Israel.
Adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Defense Affairs stated that the focus of all American actions in the West Asian region was to limit the influence and movements of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but on the contrary, there was a definite strategy and that was wherever nations and governments in the region and the world asked Iran for help, it would definitely be operational.
The senior official noted that today the axis of resistance which was supported by Iran was directly opposite to the Americans and their forces present in the West Asian region.
Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan noted that the ISIL terrorist outfit, which was created by the United States and some countries in the region, targeted most of the Islamic countries, and that the Islamic Republic of Iran stood up to ISIL in order to eliminate this terrorist group.
Adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Defense Affairs stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran was a stabilizing and security-building element in the West Asian region due to the fight against terrorist groups.
"Iran seeks peace and never thinks of any aggression against the region and neighboring countries", concluded he.
