Tehran (IP): The closing ceremony of Iran’s Calm Waters Rowing Premier League was held on Monday in Tehran's Azadi Lake.

Iran Press/Iran News: The ceremony was attended by Reza Salehi-Amiri, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, and members of the executive board of the committee including Alireza Rahimi, Abdi Eftekhari, Majid Shayesteh, and Majid Kayhani.

In this ceremony, trophies and medals were granted to the top teams.

Salehi-Amiri said at the ceremony: "The Iranian Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation is on the path of progress, and according to reports, the Iranian rowing is getting close to the Olympic medals."

He added: "The Iranian Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation uses national capacities in this field for progress."

The competitions of the Iranian men and women Calm Waters Rowing Premier League ended with the victory of Sepahan and Bahr Gostar Fars teams, while at the end of the ceremony, Reza Salehi-Amiri rewarded the top teams with 100 million Tomans.
