Today’s funeral procession in Najaf began along a 7-kilometer route with an in-million turnout; the crowd is growing by the moment.
The body was circumambulated at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (AS) and is scheduled to depart for Karbala at 16:00 local time (16:30 Iran time).
In Karbala, the procession will cover an 8-kilometer route, followed by circumambulation at the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS).
