Tehran (IP) - The first round of the Iranian women's ski competition "Iran Dokht Cup" ended with the introduction of the best in different age categories.

Iran Press/Iran News: In the competition, which was held at Darbandsar International Ski Slope in, Tehran, the top 60 Iranian skiers from different parts of the country competed in the small spiral branch.

The winners of these competitions will be invited to camps held for the national team in different age groups.

Vice President of the Women's Ski Federation Fatemeh Kiadar Bandsari said that in the closing ceremony of the competitions that the purpose of these competitions was to show that women were capable of organizing high-quality competitions.

She said that efforts would be made to improve the quality of the Iran Dokht Cup within the coming weeks, along with using the best of the field in the federation's talent-finding courses and competitions.

The top champion of Iran Dokht Cup competitions Atefeh Ahmadi also told Iran Press in an interview that the competition was an opportunity for the Iranian female skiers to show their capabilities, expressing hope that they reach better positions than before.
