Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations rejected the Israeli allegation made by the Israeli representative at the international body about the attack on the Israeli ship in the Sea of Oman and warned against all consequences as a result of any miscalculation.

Iran Press/America: On Friday, Majid Takht-Ravanchi sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the head of the UN Security Council denouncing Israel's accusation that Iran had been responsible for the recent attack on an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Oman.

He stressed: "The characteristics of this attack show that it was carried out by actors who pursue their evil policies and illegitimate goals."

Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations said: "Israel's purpose in accusing Iran is an attempt to victim playing and distract the observers from Israeli crimes in the region."

"The world needs to be aware of this fact and recognize Israel as responsible for its military adventures and will be responsible for the consequences of any action based on its miscalculation," Takht-Ravanchi said.
