Iran Press/ Iran News: "This port, located on the Makran coast in Sistan and Baluchestan province, is a safe, secure, and reliable way to trade with Afghanistan as well as Central Asia," Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said in a speech on Chabahar Day.
"The port of Chabahar in Iran has been able to prove its position among various countries, including Russia, Brazil, Thailand, Germany, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates, in a short period of time," the official added.
India and Iran decided in 2003 to expand the port of Chabahar on the Iranian-Pakistani border.
