Maritime Deputy of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, announced plans to build a radio station using the latest technologies and in accordance with international standards in the port of Chabahar.

Iran PressIran News: Referring to the development outlook towards Makran coasts, Hassan Ebrahimi said: "With the full implementation of this project, Chabahar port will have the most professional radio station structure in the Oman Sea."

Ebrahimi added: "This model complies with national and international requirements. The latest marine communication technologies have been seen in its design as well."

Maritime Deputy of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Sistan and Baluchestan Province stated: "With the implementation of the radio coverage plan, the ground for facilitating the establishment of emergency and safety messages will be provided and the response time of maritime rescue operations will be reduced."

Chabahar port in Sistan and Baluchestan Province is the only Iranian ocean port located on the shores of the Makran Sea and the Indian Ocean.
