Tehran (IP) – In a meeting with the Italian ambassador to Tehran, Iran's energy minister stressed the two countries' cooperation in energy sector projects in other countries.

Iran Press/Iran News: During the meeting with Giuseppe Perone on Wednesday, Reza Ardakanian referred to the many opportunities for bilateral cooperation in projects in other countries and the possibility of using Iran's unique capabilities in the region.

He stated that bilateral meetings and holding business conferences between Iranian and Italian companies could help develop relations.

The Italian ambassador to Tehran also stated that large Italian companies were very eager to develop cooperation with Iran in energy, especially renewable energy. 

Iran's foreign trade with Europe from March to September 2020 was over 15,910,816 tons of goods worth 8,807,879,841 dollars. 

The volume of Iran's exports to Europe in this period was more than 5,605,891 tons of goods worth 2,066,840,538 dollars. 

Iran has exported goods to 37 European countries.
