Tehran (IP): The Conference on Trade Opportunities and Strategies with Syria commenced on Monday at the Iran Chamber of Commerce in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: In this conference, zeroing the 4% tariff on Iran's exports to Syria and reducing the ban on the export of 80 items to Syria to one-third is one of the effective issues in increasing exports to Syria, which will be discussed in this conference.

Hamid Zadboom, head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, and Keyvan Kashefi, head of the Iran-Syria Joint Chamber, and a group of economic activists are attending the conference.

Kashefi announced a plan to allow the export of all Iranian-made goods to Syria, saying the Joint Chamber of Commerce would provide information on trade with Syria to Iranian traders.

The conference comes as the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture recently opened the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Damascus, and is set to hold permanent exhibitions of some Iranian products and create a business environment for exporters.
