Tehran (IP) - Referring to attempts to pass a resolution against Iran in the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Iranian Foreign Minister stated that the Europeans have started a wrong move with the support of the United States.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking to reporters after a meeting with members of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on Monday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said: "We had a good meeting with representatives about the current situation."

He pointed out the efforts to pass a resolution against Iran in the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, adding: "The Europeans have started a wrong move with the support of the United States in the Board of Governors, we think this move will cause a mess."

He noted: "We have explained the current situation to all members of the Board of Governors through the Iranian ambassador in Vienna. We hope they behave wisely, and if that does not happen, we have solutions."

The Board of Governors is the decision-making body of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which holds several meetings each year to decide on important issues of the IAEA.
