Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Saturday that in the past 24 hours, 81 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 59,980.

 

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 27, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,975 cases out of whom 418 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,623,159 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,386,534 recovered.

3,729 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 10,793,788 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 32 in orange, 251 are in yellow, and 154 are in the blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are red zones.
