Turkish fighter jets attack northern Iraq

Turkish fighter jets bombed various areas in the northern Iraqi province of Dohuk for the second day in a row.

Iran PressMiddle East: Turkish forces also attacked Kuh-e Kareh in Duhok province a few days ago.

Ali Varhan, a member of the Patriotic Union of the Iraqi Kurdistan party noted that the continuation of these Turkish attacks caused panic among the inhabitants of these areas.

According to him, Turkish warplanes bombed several other villages in the 'Kani Masi' area of the Al-Emadiyah area, injuring a farmer and setting several civilian farms on fire.

Turkey occasionally targets northern Iraq under the pretext of suppressing PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) elements.
