Tehran (IP) – Ghadir freeway with a length of 158 km was put into operation in Qazvin, Markazi, Alborz, and Tehran provinces by Iran's President via video conference.

Iran Press/Iran News: Hassan Rouhani inaugurates a 158-km-long Ghadir freeway, it has 6 lanes, and is worth 7,000 billion tomans.

This national project aims to complete a part of the east-west and north-south freeway corridors, and its operation will shorten the route and facilitate the passage between northwestern and northeastern regions of the country.

In addition to the development of the tourism industry and the national economic prosperity, the Ghadir freeway will also affect goods' transit in the transnational sphere, focusing on neighboring countries.
