Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, Hassan Rouhani appreciated the work and efforts of all engineers and those involved in the country's prosperity and development.
Rouhani also congratulated the New Year to the Iranian people in advance and appreciated the hard work of doctors and medical staff for fighting coronavirus in these days.
Referring to the Shahid Hemmat-Karaj Freeway, the President said: "This motorway is very important. From Thursday, this route will be opened on people, which will make the people of Tehran and Karaj happy."
"In general, we have opened three important projects in the recent three months, one of which was Hashtgerd Metro station, the second one the Tehran-Shomal Freeway, which displays the Iranian construction industry's power, and the third one is this project which has been opened near the New Year," he added.
"It was announced that approximately 10 trillion tomans have been spent on this freeway, and the current value of these freeways is 25 trillion tomans, which is a very good asset for our dear people," said Rouhani.
We will put these hard days behind us
Referring to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, Iran's President said: "We will put these hard days behind us with the help of doctors and people."
"Our people have always endured hard times and will put these hard days behind them."
