Yemeni Ansarullah movement spokesman stressed the need to continue resisting the aggressors, adding that the UN does not even dare to condemn the siege of Yemen.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Al-Masira on Thursday, Mohammad Abdul-Salam, the spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, called the battle of Marib a reaction to the escalation of aggression against Yemen and said: "The invasion of Yemen was carried out by a foreign coalition and was not limited to bombing and siege, but occupied areas such as Marib province as a platform for military operations."

Abdul-Salam said that in the international arena, the battle of Marib is considered aggression and they expect the Yemeni people not to defend themselves and added: "The military option was imposed on Yemen while we always wanted peaceful options."

Since 2015, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as a coalition of several Arab countries and with the help of the United States and Britain, have launched large-scale attacks against Yemen, the poorest Arab country.

The military aggression has so far resulted in nothing but the killing and wounding of tens of thousands of Yemenis, as well as the displacement of millions of deprived citizens, the destruction of infrastructure, famine, starvation, and the spread of infectious diseases in Yemen.
