Tehran (IP)- The chief of Iran's presidential staff said that the government was trying to implement the parliament's law on nuclear issues based on the instructions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/Iran News: In response to a question posed by Iran Press News Agency about IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Director-General Rafael Grossi's claim that preventing inspectors from entering Iran would have consequences, Mahmoud Vaezi added: "Since yesterday, Iran has suspended the implementation of the Additional Protocol, which it had voluntarily accepted under Iran 2015 Nuclear Deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."

The Chief of the Presidential Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that any action had consequences, although the JCPOA signatories had expressed regret over the law of the Iranian parliament entitled "Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect the Iranian Nation's Interests", but in any case, the Iranian government was determined to implement the law of the country.

Mahmoud Vaezi added that the JCPOA parties must fulfill their commitments and that the 1,600 sanctions imposed by the DonaldTrump administration against the Iranian nation and government over the past four years need to be lifted.

Vaezi stated that Tehran would not back down from its principles, adding that the JCPOA should serve Iran's interests and that if the JCPOA signatories complied with their obligations, all issues would return to normal.
