Iran-Iraq to expand trade cooperation

Baghdad (IP) - Iran's Ambassador in Baghdad and Iraq's Minister of Trade met to discuss trade cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, met with the Iraqi Minister of Trade Alaa Ahmed al-Jubouri, on Monday to discuss trade cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq and ways to expand this cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed the minutes signed at the fourth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of the two countries and discussed the issues that could be followed in this meeting.

The forthcoming visit of Alireza Razm Hosseini, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad was another issue raised during the meeting, which was scheduled to be coordinated by both sides.
