Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the inauguration of 105 railway projects worth 1,445 billion Tomans, Mohammad Eslami pointed out that Iran had high economic and workforce capacities to develop and increase its income.
The road minister stated that Iran was moving on a strong and right track for development and progress.
He noted that the railway projects indicated Iran's self-sufficiency and independence from foreigners.
"Fortunately, Iran no longer depends on foreigners because it depends mainly on its own capabilities and capacities," underlined the minister.
He added that the inaugurated railway projects would help trains' security, fastness, and movement.
He said that connecting to freight centers and increasing rail lines would make railways more economical.
Eslami expressed hope that Iran would celebrate self-sufficiency in passenger and freight locomotives soon.
