"We all know that the virus infects people, and the best way to avoid getting a virus is to prevent it," Rouhani said, noting that the pandemic has created special conditions around the world.

He cited social distancing, reduced commute, gatherings, and regular adherence to health protocols as preventative measures, adding: "Almost everyone in the world agrees on this issue, and we should try to move forward in this area."

Rouhani also went on to stress e observing the health protocols by the Iranian nation advised the people to observe the protocols in the coming weeks so that "we have good Nowroz days ahead. If we take into account all the observations, both businesses will prosper, and people's travels will be established, but if we do not observe, we may not have good conditions ahead.”

He added: "Of course, we in Iran sought to make all the famous drugs, and it has been made and is available to all our hospitals. If we all work together, we can succeed and stop Corona; If people all work together, something can be done because we saw two of our famous athletes, Mr. Minavand and Ansarian, passed away as a result of this pandemic, and this is a warning to all our people to take more precise and more care in this regard.

Referring to the issue of treatment of COVID 19 disease, the President said: "This disease has no effective and definitive treatment. In some cases, prescriptions may be issued. Of course, the drugs that are famous and are said to be effective in the world, we sought to make it, and the country is doing its best in this field."

Rouhani also stated about vaccination in the country: "One of the ways to immunize is vaccination, which creates collective safety. If this were to be the norm, we would have to wait one or two years, but because the disease was causing so many casualties and causing so much trouble to countries, the World Health Organization issued an emergency permit."

"Vaccines are generally two-stage, with their own problems," he said. "We have a population of 84 million in Iran. Here, too, we need to produce a significant number of vaccines. Vaccine production is our priority. If conditions are available, it is not easy to get vaccinated, and it can take five or six months for people to be vaccinated. All devices are ready to be vaccinated in Iran, and fortunately, the first shipment of the vaccine has arrived in the country."
