Iran Press/Iran News: During the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus meeting, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said: We started the process of Corona vaccine production. We took the first steps and our scientists are sure that we will finally get the vaccine next year and the vaccination of people will be done by our homemade vaccine.
Rouhani added: We were fundamentally different from the rest of the world in the fight against Coronavirus. In a situation where Iran was under sanctions and economic pressure, we applied for a loan from a bank or the International Monetary Fund to buy medical equipment and the United States prevented us from receiving the loan. In other words, the rest of the world did not have these problems.
"The world stood together against Coronavirus, but we stood alone against it and no one helped us," the Iranian President noted.
