Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Wednesday that 1,438,286 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,229,391 recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 3, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 6,870 cases out of whom 701 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 79 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 58,189.

3,838 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 9,449,658 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 18 cities are in orange, 124 in yellow, and 306 are in the blue zones.
