Isfahan (IP) - The UNICEF Child-Friendly City Candidate Award was presented to Isfahan by the UNICEF representative in Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Mandeep O'Brien told the mayor of Isfahan on Tuesday at the UNICEF Child-Friendly City award ceremony that it is part of UNICEF's global approach to working with children in urban settings and interacting with cities.

The head of the UNICEF office in Iran stated that the initiative of Child-Friendly City has attracted a lot of attention to ensure that children can live in a fair, healthy, and safe environment.

O'Brien said that in this context, the city of Isfahan will be helped to expand the initiative of Child-Friendly City in Iran to take an important step towards turning Isfahan into a more child-friendly city.
