Damascus (IP) - Syrian sources reported that a car bomb had exploded in Aleppo province, killing and injuring 35 people.

Iran PressMiddle East:  Syrian sources said Sunday that the blast took place in the northern city of Azaz in Aleppo province. According to the report, the city of Azaz is under the control of the Turkish-backed Free Army terrorist group.

Syrian sources also reported yesterday that a car bomb had exploded in the city of Afrin in the northern province of Aleppo, killing at least six people and wounding 15 others. The Turkish army has captured 4,000 kilometers of Syrian territory, and the northern cities of Al-Bab, Azzaz, Jarablus, and Afrin in two operations called "Euphrates Shield" and "Olive Branch.

"The Syrian government has called for the withdrawal of Turkish troops from Syria, calling the Turkish military operations in the Afrin region and other parts of northern Syria illegal.
