Bomb blast in Syria's Afrin kills 5

A car bomb blast in the northern Syrian city of Afrin killed and injured over 18 people.

Iran PressMiddle East: 5 civilians, including a child, were martyred, and more than 13 ones were injured in a blast of a car in Afrin, which is occupied by Turkish occupation-backed terrorist organizations, SANA reported.

Civil sources told SANA reporter that a car bomb exploded on Saturday afternoon in al-Sinaa neighborhood in Afrin city in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, killing 5 civilians, including a child, and wounding more than 13 others, some of them in serious condition, which is likely to increase the number of martyrs.

The sources pointed out that the power of the explosion's sound caused huge damage in the neighborhood.
