Tehran (IP) - The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art was reopened to art lovers in the presence of Deputy Minister for Artistic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, after two years of closure due to renovation.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ehsan Aghaei, Head of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Iran, a number of foreign ambassadors to Tehran, and only a limited number of artists attended the reopening ceremony of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Reopening ceremony was held with the attendance of Mojtaba Hosseini, Deputy Minister for Artistic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. 

Simultaneously with the reopening of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, a collection of donated works (600 paintings) by the late Manijeh Mir Emadi, a contemporary Iranian artist, is on display in this museum.
