Iranian foreign minister called the countries' multilateral cooperation in the region the basis for long-lasting peace and stability.

Iran Press/Asia: Continuing his regional visits, Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Yerevan on Wednesday for bilateral and regional consultations with Armenian officials.

Zarif noted that multilateral cooperation had been discussed in a meeting with Russian and Azerbaijani officials and stated that there was a basis for cooperation between the region's countries, especially in the economic field.

Georgia and Turkey will be the next destinations for the Iranian foreign minister's regional visits.
