Cities forced to get smart following the corona pandemic: Tehran's mayor

Tehran (IP) - Tehran's mayor said that making cities smart as a priority is what the coronavirus has imposed on the country.

Iran PressIran News: As one of the keynote speakers in the 5th edition of the Tehran Golden Adobe Award on Tuesday, Pirouz Hanachi stressed that Iran has an old and long-lasting civilization in the world, so efforts are being made to improve its ranking globally especially in Tehran, the capital.

Hanachi mentioned public transportation, citizens' participation in improving the city's culture, smart city management especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, economy, and entrepreneurship have been the pivots of the 5th editions of the Tehran Golden Adobe Award to participate in.

"93 percent of registered historical heritage are mainly made of adobes considered as the fundamental base for construction," said Hanachi.
