Iran Press/Iran News: The family of the prominent nuclear and defense scientist, Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh met with the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Monday.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the scientific and technical achievements of Martyr Fakhrizadeh and the hard work of the high-ranking scientist in the field of science and practice, saying: The position he achieved is not comparable to any position in this world.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of Iran’s Ministry of Defense and a leading scientist in the nuclear industry, was assassinated on November 27 in a terrorist attack. The attack took place on a highway in the small city of Absard in Damavand County, about 40 kilometers east of the capital Tehran.
