Tehran (IP) - Secretary-general of the Iranian National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) said each plane named after an Iranian cultural and historical hero, introducing Iran's identity to young people and the next generation.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Hojatollah Ayoubi referred to the 'Farrokhbal' project, stating: "If our goal is for young Iranians to have an Iranian lifestyle, they should get to know historical and cultural characters better."

He noted that for this purpose, each aircraft was identified with a prominent cultural and historical hero.

Ayoubi added that people could become more familiar with the character during the flight by watching a short film of the personality and the brochures that describe him.

The 'Farrokhbal' project of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, in cooperation with one of the country's airlines, started on Wednesday at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran with the slogan "The Next Stop: Culture" with the presence of calligraphy teachers and artists.
