Tehran (IP) - Iran's Central Bank governor said that part of the blocked currencies had been released abroad and the other part would be provided gradually through the developments that were taking place.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of today's cabinet meeting, Abdolnaser Hemmati responded to a question about the release of Iran's blocked money.

He said: "Most of this money belongs to CBI and increases the market power of the central bank and can be used whenever we want."

Iranian president's chief of staff last week expressed hope that the blocked money's status in South Korea would be finalized within a month.

Responding to Iran Press' question, Mahmoud Vaezi stated that under pressure from Iran's Central Bank and the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the South Korean deputy foreign minister came to Iran to present a report.
