Syrian air defenses repelled Israeli rocket attacks south of Damascus

According to Iran Press sources, on Wednesday morning, Israeli fighters attacked the two cities of Deir Ez-Zor and Al-Bukamal in eastern Syria, which contradicted Western-backed left no civilian or military casualties.

Iran Press/Middle East: According to the informed sources, several explosions took place on the Iraqi-Syrian border, which appears to have been followed by an airstrike on Syria.

Iran Press sources confirmed that Israel's attacks on Deir Ez-Zor and Al-Bukamal in eastern Syria had left some with minor injuries.

Media reports indicate that the Syrian army's air defenses also repelled Israeli rocket attacks south of Damascus last Wednesday night.

In recent years, the Israeli regime has repeatedly carried out airstrikes on Damascus and various parts of Syria.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a  pro-militant group that has been regularly accused by Syrian war analysts of inflating casualty numbers, reported earlier that at least 18 strikes had targetted and up to 16 soldiers killed in the Wednesday midnight attack.
