Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Japan's NHK TV channel broadcast on Thursday, Abbas Araghchi, referred to the effects of US sanctions on Iran over the past four years and stated that the Islamic Republic "will not miss a moment to ensure the lifting of sanctions."
If sanctions are lifted, and Iran benefits from the nuclear deal, the Islamic Republic will return to its nuclear commitments, he noted.
Iran's deputy foreign minister said 20 percent enrichment "could be reversed quickly and easily."
"It is up to them," Araqchi said about the possibility of the US return to the nuclear deal. Iran is waiting to see how Joe Biden's government "wants to get back to its agreement and commitments," the diplomat highlighted.
On May 8, 2018, US President Donald Trump withdrew from JCPOA and promised to persuade Iran to reach a better agreement by pursuing a "maximum pressure" policy.
Trump's four-year presidency is coming to an end, and he did not benefit from the maximum pressure against Iran.
