Following the continued violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime, areas in southern Lebanon were once again targeted carried out by the occupying regime’s military.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced that two people were killed and nine others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Deir ez-Zahrani in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, an Israeli airstrike on the town of Ansar in southern Lebanon killed seven people, including three children and two women.

Meanwhile, according to Lebanese media reports, Israeli forces targeted vital infrastructure in the city of Bint Jbeil and nearby villages, destroying several homes in the city.

The ongoing Israeli aggression and blatant violations of the ceasefire come as Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said on Friday that the country’s stability depends on an end to Israeli attacks.

He called for an immediate halt to the attacks and the withdrawal of Israeli forces to the international border, stressing that ending the violations is a key condition for the continuation of negotiations.
