Iran Press/ Africa: Head of Iran's Interest Section in Cairo Nasser Kanaani wrote on Twitter on Monday on the occasion of the first anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, the late commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), known as al-Hashd al-Shaabi: "Undoubtedly, the assassination of the resistance leaders was the most foolish act of the terrorist president of the United States."
Kanaani added: "The assassination of Qassem Soleimani made his name eternal."
