Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that 1,194,963 people in the country have been infected with the Coronavirus, and 942,548, of the total infected people recovered, with 108 cities in the orange zone, and 340 counties in the yellow zone.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 26, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 5,760 cases out of whom 732 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 134 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 54,574.

5,273 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to her.

So far, 7,354,931 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed out.

Currently, 108 cities are in the orange zone, and 340 counties are in the yellow zone, Lari said.
