Tehran (IP) - According to Shafa Pharmed, more than 27,000 people have volunteered for the Iranian coronavirus vaccine test just three days after registering.

Iran Press/Iran News: The first Iranian coronavirus vaccine produced by Shafa Pharmed Company, after undergoing animal testing and registration with the World Health Organization and obtaining the necessary permits from the Ministry of Health of Iran, has entered the human trials.

"These tests will be performed in three stages from next week," according to the company.

Shafa Pharmed Company announced: From Tuesday and after announcing the start of volunteers’ registration until last night (Thursday), 27,079 people have registered to test the vaccine in clinical trials on humans.

Eight Iranian vaccines are on the WHO vaccine list, and eight other Iranian vaccines are on the verge of entering this list.
