Baku (IP) - The Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan announced the removal of obstacles to the expansion of Tehran-Baku relations.

Iran PressAsia: Iran's Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi on Thursday in a video-conference with the governor, officials and economic activists of Iran's East Azarbaijan province referred to the recent visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Tehran, saying: "They have expressed interest in the active participation of Iranian companies in the reconstruction of the liberated areas of Nagorno-Karabakh."

Mousavi added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is implementing about 15 major national projects in the Republic of Azerbaijan, including railways, the establishment of an industrial town, pharmacy, tractor and bus production as well as food products."

The Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan stated: "Negotiations on the signing of a preferential trade agreement between the two countries are approaching the finalization, and the concluded document will be signed soon."
