Iran, Azerbaijan Joint Commission to be held in January 2021: Official

Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of the President of Iran announced the formation of a joint commission for economic cooperation between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan in January 2021.

Iran PressIran news: Mahmoud Vaezi, Chief of Staff of the President of Iran, referred to the visit of 'Shahin Mustafaev', Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iran, saying: "New conditions have been created in the region after the conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and taking advantage of these conditions requires dialogue on various issues.

"It is now the time to deepen friendships between the countries of the region," he said.

Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafaev, the country's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, and a number of Azerbaijani officials traveled to Tehran on Tuesday.
