Iran Press/Iran News: Alireza Raeisi, Spokesman of Iran’s National Task Force Against Coronavirus, in an interview with Iran TV on Tuesday night, stressed that complete information on the mortality rate of the British COVID-19 has not been released so far, emphasizing that the only way to deal with the virus is to follow health instructions. It means masking, observing social distance, constantly washing hands, and proper ventilation indoors.
"Since September 20, the virus has been known in the UK and mostly in the south and southeast of the country, with its center in London, and it has had the highest detection figures," Raisi said.
Spokesman of Iran’s National Task Force Against Coronavirus said that European countries had blocked their routes with Britain to prevent the virus from spreading.
The effectiveness of drugs and even Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for the British coronavirus is questionable.
Referring to the suspension of Iranian flights to Britain and vice versa, Raisi said: "The virus that is transmitted through respiration is likely to be transmitted to any country, which depends on the amount of travel."
Spokesman of Iran’s National Task Force Against Coronavirus added: "Strict measures have been taken for travelers from all European countries who intend to travel to Iran, including those who must enter the country with a negative test and will be tested at the airport, even with a negative Being tested, they must be quarantined at home for 14 days."
More than 40 governments have barred travelers from Britain, suspending flights and cutting off trade routes in scenes reminiscent of the frenzied early days of the pandemic.
