Moscow (IP): The Iranian Oil Minister of Oil announced an agreement with Russia to develop technical cooperation in oil and gas fields.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh, who is in Moscow to discuss the state of the global oil market, referred to talks with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Russian Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov, adding that during these meetings, the global oil market was discussed.

Zanganeh said that Russia has played a decisive role in stabilizing the global oil market in recent years, noting: Due to the serious cooperation between Tehran and Moscow in the oil market, in a meeting with Russian officials, a consultation was held within the framework of OPEC Plus.

The Iranian oil minister also stressed that Tehran recognizes Russia as a strategic partner, adding: "Iran has good cooperation with Russian companies and it is planned that this cooperation in the field of oil and gas with Russian companies will continue." 

Zanganeh added: "If Russian companies that manufacture oil and gas equipment, want to operate in Iran, they must be a partner with Iranian companies and talk to their Iranian counterparts in order to achieve results."
