The Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Moscow on Sunday night heading a delegation to meet and consult with Russian officials.

Iran PressEurope:  Bijan Namdar Zangeneh was welcomed by several Russian officials upon his arrival at Moscow airport, as well as "Kazem Jalali", the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia.

Zangeneh is scheduled to meet in Moscow on Monday with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Shulginov to discuss the latest state of energy cooperation between the two countries and the outlook for global markets.

Russia is a member of OPEC Plus.

The Ministers of Petroleum and Energy, members and non-members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the OPEC Plus Coalition, recently decided to facilitate an agreement to reduce their oil production to 500,000 barrels per day in January 2021 and have monthly meetings to review further adjustments in the coming months.
