The Iranian ambassador to China expressed hope that relations between the two countries would expand significantly next year.

Iran Press/Asia: Iran’s ambassador to China in an interview with Phoenix Television broadcast on Friday referred to the fact that China is the great business partner of Iran saying the year 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of establishing formal ties between the two countries and this is the opportunity that should be used to cement bilateral ties.

Refereeing to the desire of Chinese companies to participate in the large market of Iran, Keshavarzadeh, added: "The two countries in various fields of industry, science and technology, culture, economy, trade, transportation and energy, and many other areas have many potential opportunities to cooperate."

Iran's ambassador to China also condemned the assassination of Martyr "Mohsen Fakhrizadeh", the prominent Iranian nuclear and defense scientist, and said: "Iran's peaceful nuclear program is not focused on one person and many scientists are involved in this program."

Keshavarzadeh stressed that Iran has no plans to hide and has responded to the requests of the International Atomic Energy Agency, adding: "This is while the Zionist regime has at least 200 nuclear warheads and also obstructs the inspections of the International Atomic Energy Agency."

Regarding the assassination of Lt. General Qasem Soleimani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, the Iranian Ambassador to China also said:” Iran reserves the right to retaliate in this regard, and as previously announced, Iran will decide on the time and place and how to retaliate.”
