Tehran (IP) - Iranian Ambassador to India met with the Indian Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, noting the great potential of the two sides and stressed the complementarity of the two countries' economies to meet the mutual needs of the two sides at a high level.

Iran Press/Asia: Ali Chegni and Sadananda Gowda discussed trade opportunities between the two countries in various agricultural sectors, especially agricultural and pharmaceutical fodder in the form of barter trade, direct trade, and joint ventures.

Cooperation in the fields of imports, health cooperation, pharmaceutical sector, capabilities, and exemptions of Chabahar port and benefiting from the geographical proximity of the two countries were other issues that were discussed in this meeting. 

The two sides also stressed the need to continue efforts to increase contacts and practical ways to increase cooperation and further develop trade between the two countries.

The Indian Minister of Materials and Chemical Fertilizers also stressed the need to further strengthen economic ties and ways to promote these relations, while pointing to the deep-rooted historical and cultural relations between the two nations.
